Website Migration
A faster site that you own
I move your existing website off Squarespace, Wix, or WordPress onto a custom Next.js site hosted on Vercel. Faster, cheaper to run, and fully yours.
Built for: Small businesses, nonprofits, and founders paying monthly fees for slow, bloated sites they can't fully control.
What you get
- ✓A complete rebuild of your existing site (up to 12 pages) on Next.js + Tailwind CSS
- ✓Deployed live on Vercel with SSL, your custom domain, and global CDN included
- ✓All existing pages migrated with your content preserved and SEO redirects in place (no lost Google rankings)
- ✓Mobile-perfect responsive design that loads in under 2 seconds
- ✓A simple way to edit text and images yourself (no developer required for small updates)
- ✓Full source code handed over to you on GitHub. You own everything
- ✓30 days of bug-fix support after launch
What I need from you
- →Read-only access to your current site (just the URL is fine for most platforms)
- →Your logo and any brand colors / fonts you want me to match
- →Your domain registrar login (or willingness to update DNS yourself, with my help)
- →A point person who can answer quick questions and approve drafts within a day
How it works
01
Day 1: Scope and scrape
I pull every page from your existing site, audit what's working, and send you a one-page plan. You approve it before any code is written.
02
Days 2–5: Build
I rebuild the site in Next.js. You get a preview link by day 3 to review on your phone and laptop. Two rounds of revisions included.
03
Days 6–7: Migrate and launch
I set up your domain, install redirects from old URLs, run a final QA pass, and flip the switch. You're live with no downtime and no lost SEO.
Common questions
What if my site is more than 12 pages?
I'll quote the extra pages at a flat rate per page (usually $80–120 each). We agree on the total before any work starts.
Will my SEO survive the move?
Yes. I set up 301 redirects from every old URL to the new one, keep your meta titles and descriptions intact, and submit a fresh sitemap to Google. Most sites see their rankings hold or improve thanks to the speed boost.
How will I update text or images after launch?
I'll wire up a simple content editor for the parts of the site that change often (about page, services, blog, etc.) so you can edit them yourself. Or if you'd rather keep it dev-only, I leave the code clean and well-commented.
Will hosting cost more than my current setup?
Almost always less. Vercel's free tier covers most small business sites. Domain renewal is the only recurring cost, typically $12–20/year.
Can I add a blog or store later?
Absolutely. The stack supports both. I can quote that as a follow-up project, or you can hire any Next.js developer to extend it. That's the upside of owning the code.
